Job Summary:
The Foreman will guide, assign, schedule and supervise the work of staff to ensure production goals
Duties/Responsibilities:
Follows Mission, Vision, Values
Oversees crew members to ensure quality of work is being performed in a timely manner
Determines project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications
Resolves problems to achieve productions goals
Conducts audits and quality assurance tests
Sets forms
Works with HR and leadership to implement disciplinary steps
Operates equipment and tools including but not limited to skid steers, telehandlers, saw, impacts, and drills
Identifies and recommends solutions
Leads morning huddles
Conducts continuous improvement and team development
Sets Safety example by following safety guidelines and ensures all crew members follow safety standards
Performs other related duties as assigned/needed up to and including all laborer duties Required Skills/Abilities:
Expert in all laborer duties
Thorough understanding of construction trades and understanding of materials, methods, and tools used
Superior organizational skills
Strong ability to read blueprints
Strong ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
Strong ability to effectively communicate and problem solve
Strong ability to remain flexible in job hours worked as specific assignments change
Strong ability to work with a variety of personalities and treat everyone with respect
Strong understanding of construction drawings
Strong ability to read a tape measure and above average math skills
Willing to learn, develop, coach and train
Strong understanding of plumb, level, and straight edge, layout, and hand tools Education and Experience:
6+ years construction experience
Task Lead experience
Valid driver's license or State ID
Equipment certifications for skid steers or forklifts (Thompson will train if necessary)
CPR and First Aid (Thompson will train if necessary)
10-hour OSHA certification
30-hour OSHA certification Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse different types of worksites and bend, climb, stretch, and reach
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull 50-pound loads at a time
Must be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to concrete, dirt, fumes, and loud noise levels
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs
Must be able to work long hours and Saturdays when needed
Must be able to work at various heights Required Tool:

Hammer
Utility knife
Pliers
Tool belt (capable of holding screws, nails, hammer, pliers, tape measure, and utility belt)
