Our SISIP Financial division offers a full suite of financial solutions tailored to our members and families. We provide conventional insurance, investment products, and preventative financial education and counseling in a commission free environment that reinvests profits to support CAF community programs. SISIP services are available virtually and in person across 23 offices nationwide, with a national office in Ottawa.
THE ROLE
The Associate Investment Funds Advisor supports clients in implementing investment strategies to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities include client discovery, client greetings, marketing activity organization, and business growth support through telemarketing, outbound calls, and prospect list preparation.
Qualifications
Education, Certifications and Licenses:
College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
Current Mutual Funds License (MFDA/AMF) with either Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) Course or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Certified Financial Planner, an asset
Experience:
Providing advice to clients

Responsibilities
Ensure relationships are managed, compliant and adhere to regulatory and service requirements.
Develop and deliver personal business plan to acquire and retain clients in a personal book of business.
Travel to Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) and collaborate with SISIP financial advisory professionals to conduct presentations, deepen B/W/U partner relationships and develop and retain client relationships with CAF members and families.
Leverage CRM in the day to day management of client relationships and business development activities.
Complete trades and mutual fund order entry forms—redemptions, switches, purchases and transfers—and ensure completion of client forms, address client requests, investigations and follow up including transfers from other financial institutions and internal file transfers.
Manage new client account opening process and administer document control measures following required policies and procedures (process, verify, transmit/file applications, other documentation).
