About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sign Painter to join our team. This position requires strong knowledge of working with aluminum metals, as well as expertise in bondo, prepping, and painting surfaces for high-quality finished signs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in producing professional, long-lasting finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prep and finish aluminum and other metal surfaces for sign fabrication

Apply bondo, sand, and smooth surfaces for painting

Mix and apply paints, coatings, and finishes to achieve durable, professional results

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines

Safely use tools, equipment, and materials related to painting and fabrication

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sign Painter

Skilled in working with aluminum metals

Strong knowledge of bondo application, prep work, and professional painting techniques

Ability to read and follow job specifications

Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Dependable with a strong work ethic

Preferred:

Experience in the sign industry

Knowledge of different types of coatings and finishes for metals
