Controls Engineer

Our client, a leader in automation technology, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong servo programming and motion controls experience for automated equipment.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Princeton, Minnesota

Pay Range: $120,000 - $145,000

What's the Job?

Design and program equipment to meet company and customer build specifications using standard procedures.

Conduct safety circuit design and programming via safety PLC.

Perform risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.

Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment. Average of 25%.

Document control systems for various types of automated equipment.

What's Needed?

5 years of experience designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.

Proficiency with PLC, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.

Experience with AutoCAD, Studio 5000, RS 500, and FactoryTalk View.
