Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Columbus, OH, is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled School Psychologist for a contract position lasting the entire school year.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students K-12
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and support plans
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
Provide counseling services and crisis intervention when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for Ohio
Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
Strong knowledge of psychological testing, evaluation, and counseling techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage case loads effectively
