POSITION: Teacher Aide - Special Education LOCATION: Mamaroneck School District HOURS: Monday - Friday, 20 - 32.5 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building PrincipalRESPONSIBILITIES: Support of student with special needs as per his/her IEPCollaboration with special education teacher and other staff members on behalf of the student's success.Experience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges.A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with childrenWillingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training REQUIREMENTS: Childhood experience preferred MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: High School DiplomaCOMPENSATION: $15.00-21.09 In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.
