Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Emporia, KS is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position through the remainder of the current school year. This role involves providing onsite psychological services Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week, focusing on supporting student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide counseling and intervention services to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in pliance with district and legal requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working within school settings preferred
Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies
Excellent munication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain confidential records
