Salary: £54,793+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
Engaging with internal and external customers and technologists to lead and drive the support technology strategy
Capture of requirements and use cases that that will drive the need for innovation and technology exploitation to drive business benefit
Identify funding opportunities across the business for research and developing exciting proposals for technology development programmes
Generation of collaborative programmes, and identification of opportunities for funding, with key external partners, suppliers, SME’s
Interface between BAE Systems and external research organisations on support technology research
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
Knowledge and experience of digital technology development and approaches including utilisation of Cloud infrastructure
Experience of technology capability insertion from concept through to deployment
Highly collaborative, with a willingness to embrace innovative approaches and constructively challenge the status-quo
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
Programming (e.g Python) experience
Awareness of civil aircraft operations
Knowledge/experience of working in a DevSecOps development framework
