Assignment Type: Travel RN

Unit: 4 South (Medical-Surgical / Med/Surg)

Start Date: December 1, 2025

End Date: March 2, 2026

Duration: 13-week contract

Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts/week)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in New York State or compact nursing license

At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and clinical support staff

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment per healthcare regulations
