Oncology RN Job Details – Ithaca, NY

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 1, 2025 – December 1, 2025)

Healthcare Setting: Oncology – Infusion Unit

Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site

Shift: Day shifts, 4x10 hour days per week

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 – $2,250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Oncology nursing or Infusion therapy

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Proven IV and infusion therapy skills

Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork abilities

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments safely and accurately

Monitor and assess oncology patients for adverse reactions, providing timely interventions

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on oncology treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management

Maintain accurate electronic health records and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality
