Your new role
You will support initiatives related to driving Novo Nordisk Environmental Strategy. You will get a chance to develop your environmental as well as your project management skills and gain business understanding. Your task will be to support project managers and specialists in the implementation of projects within climate, nature and chemical roadmaps as well as our ReMed™ takeback scheme, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and GHG emissions. This will include collection, handling, assessment and presentation of data as well as project support.
Your new department

With a significant growth outlook for Novo Nordisk, it is of very high importance that the right environmental, nature and biodiversity solutions are created to drive the change towards zero environmental impact. Environmental Responsibility is a diverse team responsible for Novo Nordisk Environmental strategy ‘Circular for Zero’, where we strive for zero environmental impact. Our responsibility includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and with external stakeholders. We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross-organisational projects and drive environmental intelligence leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint. The department consists of 20 dedicated project managers and specialists, all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for 2 interns who has environmental knowledge. You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental management, sustainable management, environmental/chemical engineering, environmental chemistry, climate change or similar relevant education. General knowledge of environmental issues will be an advantage and familiarity with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol is a plus. You can conduct data analysis, understand basic principles of environmental assessments, you are an experienced user of MS Excel, and you are a good communicator both in writing and in speaking. As a person you are service-minded, detail-oriented and thorough with a can-do attitude. It is a requirement that you are fluent in both oral and written English and have great interpersonal skills.

Practicalities
Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.
Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6-12 months.
