JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas license required
• Board: ABEM preferred; AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM with strong ED experience accepted; ABPS not accepted
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: EM BC requires proof of ATLS once; FM/IM trained requires ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Strong emergency medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications: Epic proficiency preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care in a rural ED setting
• Manage all presenting ED patients across all acuity levels
• Participate in all required onboarding activities
• Perform required emergency medicine procedures
• Collaborate with hospital teams for transfers and care coordination
