Selman Elementary School Date Available: 08/13/2025 Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Primary Purpose: To assist, monitor and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch.

Major Responsibilities and Duties: * Monitor and supervise students in the cafeteria.

* Help students advance through the serving line and past the cashier.

* Maintain a lunchroom atmosphere of cheerfulness, cleanliness, orderliness and personal caring.

* Manage student behavior in the cafeteria and make discipline referrals to campus administration.

* Assist in clearing and wiping cafeterai tables.

* Help students exit the cafeteria and return to their classrooms in a safe and orderly manner.

* Attendance at work is an essential function.

* Other duties as assigned by the campus principal or designee.

Experience: * Experience working with children preferred Salary Information: Paygrade: H1 $13.51/hr Wage Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hours/Day: 3 Special Knowledge/Skills: * Constructive and cooperative attitude toward the duties of the aide, the school, the staff and the students.

* Abilitiy to communicate effectively Other Information: Working Conditions: Mental/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Pushing, walking, standing, specific visual and hearing requirements (monitoring students in cafeteria), constant noise.
