Job Description
Mountain Park Health Center is looking for Physician Assistants (PA) to join our well-established and accredited team of providers. As a large Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Arizona, we are dedicated, to sustaining and improving the health of our patients by providing excellent, patient-centered primary care.
As a Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative health care services under the supervision of a physician.
Essential Functions:
Provides direct patient care by obtaining medical history, performing appropriate physical examination, and creating an assessment and plan that may include ordering and interpreting labs, ordering imaging studies and developing treatment plan including referring to specialty care when needed.
Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
Follows up and monitors patient’s progress throughout treatment plan.
Documents the evaluation and plan of care.
Provides patient education on a variety of health topics.
Collaborates and consults with other in house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school for physician
Current Arizona PA License
Current DEA Certificate
Current CPR Certification
Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies
