Job Description
CDH Medical Oncology (4A)
26 bed specialized adult oncology/step down unit affiliated with the NM Warrenville Cancer Center
Our unit cares for patients 18 years of age and older and treats all cancer diagnosis
We specialize in giving inpatient chemotherapy and symptom management
Provide palliative and end of life/hospice care
Highly engaged supportive staff that work cohesively together
Multidisciplinary care reliability rounds daily to enhance patient/family communication and satisfaction

Be Part of Better: What It's Like to Work at Northwestern Medicine
High School Diploma or equivalent
Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
CPR Basic Life Support
Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
Phlebotomy experience
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Graduate of Phlebotomy course
