We are seeking an accomplished HR and Operations leader who can bring strong industry experience, strategic insight, and a people-first approach to strengthen the university’s human capital and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
A. Human Resources
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with institutional vision and statutory norms.
Lead recruitment for senior academic and administrative positions.
Design performance management systems, appraisal mechanisms, and career development pathways.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, grievance redressal, conflict resolution, and organisational culture-building.
Ensure end-to-end compliance with labour laws, regulatory guidelines, and institutional mandates.
Plan and oversee training programmes, upskilling modules, and leadership development for faculty and staff.
B. Operations & Administration
Supervise day-to-day administrative operations across departments in close coordination with key functionaries.
Support process optimisation, documentation, and policy implementation across HR, estate, facilities, and allied services.
Work with academic and non-academic units to ensure timely execution of operational tasks, audits, and reporting activities.
Implement and monitor digital/AI-enabled HR and operational systems (attendance, leave, workflow automation, records, etc.).
Contribute to long-term planning for institutional growth, infrastructure development, staffing, and service enhancement.
Desired Profile:-
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in HRM, Management, or related discipline (preferred).
PhD or professional certifications in HR/Administration will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
10–15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior HR/operations leadership role within a university setting.
Prior experience in private higher education is strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of academic structures, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, diverse stakeholders, and multi-layered operations.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record in driving organisational change, implementing systems, and maintaining a disciplined yet empathetic work environment.
Familiarity with HRIS, digital platforms, and AI-assisted workflows will be a significant plus.
