Teacher 1 (Adult Basic Education/GED)

What You'll Do: * Develops lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized training for assignments * Provides necessary instruction for Adult Basic Education/General Education Development program * Administers necessary tests * Evaluate inmates provides necessary direction for inmates * Maintains discipline and/or security of instructional area * Attends education meetings, unit staff meetings and in-service training * Prepares required records and reports * Maintains inventory and orders supplies and materials needed * Performs other education and/or related duties as requested by education administrators * Performs other duties as required on assignment Applicants who possess a Baccalaureate degree & an Adult Educator four year permit and/or are eligible to receive a four-year permit from the Ohio Department of Education, may be considered.

Any current Teacher Certificate appropriate grade level to be assigned; Teacher 1, 71721, must also have baccalaureate degree or less; Job Skills: Education, Developing Others, Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Awareness, Customer Focus
