As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.
There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for an ER Case Consultant in our People Function!
About the role
As one of our ER Case Consultants, you’ll play a key part in how we support our colleagues and keep performance on track. You’ll bring clarity, confidence and steady judgement to ER issues, helping our people managers make good decisions and keeping conversations constructive.
Reporting into the Head of Employee Relations and Policy, you’ll advise on a wide range of cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, smarter working, SARs and general policy queries. You’ll coach managers so they can handle issues early and well, and you’ll partner with teams to apply policies in a practical way.
The ER Case Consultant is often the connector in many situations, you’ll help find common ground, helping colleagues see each other’s point of view and finding a route forward.
Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone who truly thrives in a team environment, yet has the initiative and confidence to also work independently. We need you to value keeping things simple and straightforward. While you don’t need to be a policy expert or an employment law expert, we’re seeking someone with hands-on experience in ER case management, preferably gained within a unionised environment.
Are you someone who thrives on teamwork, relishes the challenge of making sense out of complexity, and brings Case Management? If so, we’re eager to connect with you!
We’re looking for:
great attention to detail- you spot what others miss
strong communication skills, both verbal and written, paired with a knack for solving problems
Previous experience as an ER case consultant, ideally within a unionised setting
Resilience and a proactive, self-starting approach to getting things done with a team and independently
The ability to adapt your communication style to suit a variety of stakeholders
A positive, collaborative mindset and a ‘can-do’ attitude
If this sounds like you, don’t hesitate as your next great opportunity could be just a conversation away!
We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You are also likely to bring experiences that enhance this role that are not listed above, therefore not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to experience or skill sets.
This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester Brewery but you will be required to travel to our other HEINEKEN sites when required. This travel can be expensed to the company.
Our Benefits
In addition to your base salary, you’ll also receive:
An annual bonus
Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
Double matched pension (up to 10%)
35 days holiday
A quarterly allowance towards purchasing our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
Exciting opportunities to develop your career
