The Role
Oversee and optimize our logistics operations across Lagos. You'll manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all logistics operations including transport, inventory, and warehousing
- Manage drivers, warehouse staff, and third-party logistics providers
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement stock control measures
- Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and transporters for best rates
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Prepare logistics reports and analyze performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in logistics/supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of Lagos transportation networks
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
