Job Details – Michigan Nursing Contract

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Saginaw, MI 48607 (Michigan nursing jobs)

Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date: December 8, 2025

End Date: March 9, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend/holiday

Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,720 - $1,840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan RN license (required for Michigan healthcare jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Neuro PCU nursing experience required

BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications

NIHSS certification

Recent travel nurse experience highly preferred

Current PCU skills checklist (within 1 year)

Two supervisory reference forms from the past two years

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based practice

Provide direct patient care: medication administration, treatments, patient education, responding to call lights and alarms, and assisting with transfers

Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to update care plans

Delegate, oversee, and guide clinical support staff

Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and hospital policies
