Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join the Critical Care Float Pool for night shifts in various ICU settings, requiring an OH or compact RN license and proficiency with Epic.

Job Details

• Work in a Critical Care Float Pool covering multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, MICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU,

• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• Floating required to ICUs of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing and patient acuity needs,

• Requires experience with telemetry and ventilator management,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience,

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,

• Proficiency with Epic required,

• Must have experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management,

• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program,

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred,

• At least 2 professional references required, with 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a range of ICU units as assigned,

• Must respond flexibly to varying unit needs including floating among specialized ICUs,

• Locals are accepted for this assignment,

• Former employees are eligible if away from the facility for 6 months or more,

• Current employees are not eligible for hire as travelers at this health system,

• RTO (requested time off) must be included in the contract,

• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process is required immediately after contract signing,
