Travel LPN - Clinic

Description

We're looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an immediate travel opening in Onamia, MN.

The right LPN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.

As an LPN in a clinic, you will provide nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services. Youll work closely with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient and compassionate care delivery.

As an LPN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and medical histories

Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers

Assist with minor clinical procedures and wound care

Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and health maintenance

Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens as required

Document nursing care and patient responses accurately in medical records

Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff

Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations

Support patient scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an LPN in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.

LPNs in clinics should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
