Weintraub, a SAFEbuilt company, is currently looking for an Inspection Scheduler to support our fast-paced to support our operations. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and schedule daily inspections requests from contractors, project managers, and municipal partners.

Assign inspections based on inspector availability, geographic coverage, license qualifications, and project needs.

Build optimized daily routes for inspectors to minimize travel and maximize productivity.

Communicate inspection windows, requirements, and documentation to clients.

Upload inspection results, reports, and supporting documents into municipal permitting systems.

Ensure compliance with all private provider documentation, including Notices to Building Officials, field reports, affidavits, and permit-specific requirements.

Track project status and follow up on missing information or pending re-inspections.

Handle schedule changes, cancellations, and urgent or time-sensitive inspection requests.

Provide excellent customer service by answering schedule questions and resolving basic inspection-related issues.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Prior experience in scheduling, dispatching, permitting, construction administration, or building department operations preferred.

Strong knowledge of Florida permitting process and/ or private provider services is a plus.

Ability to multitask and manage high-volume scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with permitting or inspection platforms.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to read and understand basic permit information and construction terminology.
