About Kidlavie

Kidlavie is a modern indoor family entertainment center and café where families enjoy high-quality food, a safe playground area, birthday parties, and exceptional service. We are expanding in Omaha and seeking a hands-on Restaurant & Park Manager who can lead both the restaurant and indoor park operations with confidence, reliability, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, café, and play-area food service

Ensure food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and compliance with all health codes

Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage food storage systems

Coordinate maintenance and repairs for kitchen, dining, and service zones

Ensure all playground areas remain clean, safe, and operational

️ ️ Staff Supervision

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams

Conduct daily staff briefings and assign tasks

Coach employees, monitor performance, and take corrective action when needed

Lead a positive team culture within a family-friendly entertainment setting

Approve timecards and manage schedules through ADP RUN

Customer Service

Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly

Maintain a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere

Monitor dining and play-area flow to ensure smooth operations

Supervise and support birthday parties and special events

Ensure every guest has a safe, enjoyable, memorable experience at Kidlavie

Administrative Duties

Manage cash handling, deposits, and daily sales reports

Coordinate deliveries, vendors, and supply needs

Ensure compliance with safety, fire code, and IBC 424 play-structure rules

Create schedules, maintain cleaning checklists, and handle documentation

Oversee overall restaurant + playground operational efficiency

Requirements

Experience in restaurant, hospitality, entertainment center, or retail management

Ability to manage both food service and recreation floor operations

Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Weekend availability

Knowledge of food safety standards and general OSHA/health protocols

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with families or children

Food and beverage Experience

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Food Manager Certification
