Quality Engineer

Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering Experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near Grand Rapids, MI. Must have experience with automotive quality. Experience with metals and/or welding is a plus.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field

Statistical background

Experience with metals or mechanisms

Experience with MIG, TIG or GMAW welding

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

Manage advanced product quality planning process for new model launch.

Write and implement procedures for gage and inspection standards, engineering changes, product audits, standardized work and any other quality related functions.

Supervise quality technicians and CMM Technicians in all quality related functions.

Evaluate proposed changes in design, process and materials to current specifications.

Investigate problems and coordinate corrective action and follow up with customers and suppliers on countermeasures.
