Description
Detail oriented and technically skilled Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC machining expertise to support the design, development, and production of mechanical products. This role bridges engineering design and hands on manufacturing, combining CAD proficiency with CNC programming, setup, and operation to bring innovative products from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and prepare CNC compatible files.
Program CNC lathes and mills (Fanuc, Okuma, Mitsubishi controllers) and perform full machine setups, including tooling selection, calibration, and work shift datum.
Conduct step by step program proofing to ensure safe and accurate tool paths.
Operate CNC equipment for prototyping and production; support production runs when not engaged in setup.
Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) principles to ensure product quality and consistency.
Create and interpret detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
Perform engineering calculations to validate product performance and safety.
Support the development and optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes.
Participate in prototype fabrication, testing, and refinement activities.
Collaborate with suppliers to define manufacturing protocols and quality standards.
Accurately use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial bore gauges, and related tools.
Document design changes and prepare technical reports and presentations.
Manage multiple engineering tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
