Job Description
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of reward strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience through effective reward communication and integration.
Additionally, analyse HR data and make recommendations considering impact on other practices. Support delivery of Remuneration and Benefits processes over periods up to 1 year. Provide input into Total Reward strategy and manage external market data gathering and relationships.
Key Result Areas
Employee Experience & Total Reward Statement: Oversee development and launch of TRS, ensuring accurate reflection of share awards and benefits.
Regulatory Compliance & Fair Pay: Ensure alignment of reward practices with Companies Amendment Act and other relevant legislation.
Remuneration Governance: Lead annual remuneration review processes, including LTI, retention schemes, and share-based awards.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present remuneration reports in line with King IV principles.
Capability Building: Enhance reward capability across the organization through training and stakeholder engagement.
Analyse HR data and make recommendations considering impact on other practices.
Manage external market data gathering and maintain relationships with external parties.
Conduct job evaluations for consistency and appropriateness of job levels.
Develop metrics and reports on Reward and Benefits expenditure.
Consult with HR Business Partners on reward and benefit policies.
Monitor compliance and research market trends to make recommendations.
Provide input into HR policy development to ensure legislative alignment and standardization.
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, Experience required
Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Experience: 8+ years in HR with at least 5 years in reward management and governance roles.
Skills: Strong knowledge of reward strategy, governance, and compliance; advanced analytical and communication skills; ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
