To strengthen our QESH team in Tilburg, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Supervisor to join the Sparkling team!

As Quality Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance within our production environment. You will lead and mentor two duo's in operations: QA ops and our Ultrasonic Testing operators, driving continuous improvement and maintaining robust quality systems. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will collaborate across departments and with global stakeholders to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction

You will report directly to the QESH Sr. Supervisor and act as the escalation point for quality issues within the factory

Responsibilities

What are you going to do?

As a Quality Supervisor, you will take ownership of quality standards in the factory while leading a small team and driving continuous improvement. Your role combines technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration with global teams.

You will:

Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 and hygiene standards, auditing processes and implementing improvements;

Act as the escalation point for quality concerns and lead investigations of non-conformities;

Develop and execute quality assurance plans and provide KPI reports with actionable recommendations;

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage process validation and audit activities;

Maintain supplier relationships for UT machines and support escalations for the UTL2 team;

Ensure a safe working environment, identify risks, and implement safety protocols and environmental measures;

Lead and mentor Quality Assurance Associates and UT L2 Operators, managing performance and training;

Be available for authority contact outside normal hours and travel internationally when required.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Quality Supervisor, you need to have experience and strong interest in Quality, Environment, Safety & Health, preferably in a logistics or production environment. You are eager to learn, have a proactive mindset, and enjoy working in a dynamic setting where no two days are the same.

You bring:

MBO-4 level (preferably in technical or operational fields) or HBO-level education in a relevant field such as food technology, environmental science, safety, or logistics;

Minimum +/- 5 years of experience in a similar international environment, with leadership experience

Strong leadership, decision-making abilities and communication skills;

Knowledge of HACCP and industrial hygiene in food production (preferred)

Basic understanding of probability and statistics

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
