What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks

Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services using Java-based frameworks

Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Selenide

Support manual testing efforts where necessary, especially for exploratory, usability, or edge-case scenarios

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and quality checks

Partner with developers and manual testers to identify test scenarios and build out automation coverage

Review product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create effective test plans

Perform root cause analysis for failed tests and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues

Mentor junior QA engineers in test automation best practices and framework usage

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in test automation

Strong programming skills in [Java / Python]

Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as [Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, PyTest, etc.]

Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured

Experience with test reporting tools like Allure

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc

Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, automation strategy, and processes

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Willingness and ability to contribute to manual QA efforts as needed

Nice to Have

Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
