Unit Details

Unit: Emergency Nursing

Beds: 82 treatment spaces hallway overflow

Patient Ratio: 1:4–1:5

Charting: Cerner

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Special Procedures: Moderate sedation, trauma support, splints, traction

Float Requirement: Yes—within similar acuity areas

Requirements

Active DE or Compact RN License (must be in hand at submission).

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience – no exceptions.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS (with valid expiration dates).

Schedule & Expectations

Shift: 12-hour Nights

Hours: 36 hours/week

Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW)

Holiday Requirement: Yes – per facility policy

Call Requirement: None

Must complete Voice Advantage Interview Nurse Manager Interview.

RTO Policy: Only one holiday request allowed (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day) max 3–5 additional days.

All RTO must be submitted upfront—no changes accepted afterward.

Submission must include: RN license #/exp date, cert list, full SSN, DOB, and address. #TB_HC
