AMS Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will provide expert wound management, treatment, and patient education in a variety of settings. This role is ideal for a compassionate provider who is skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based wound care practices.Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive wound assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Provide advanced wound care, including debridement, dressing selection, compression therapy, and infection management.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Educate patients and families on wound prevention, proper hygiene, and ongoing care.
Document all assessments, treatments, and progress in the patient’s medical record accurately and timely.
Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage patient follow-up as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana.
