* $2,000 Hiring Bonus Available*

$500 at 45 days

$500 at 90 days

$1000 at 180 days

We are seeking a Production Mechanic to join our team at our facility in Jamestown, NC! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Production Maintenance Technician Pay Rage: $33.20/hour (after 90 days $33.40/hour) *You will receive a pay check weekly. + 2% bonus participation.

Responsibilities:

Repair, install, adjust, and maintain industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems.

Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment, motors, control devices, and other mechanical components.

Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.

Respond promptly to work order requests and equipment stoppages, diagnosing and correcting mechanical breakdowns.

Operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools to fabricate or replace parts as needed.

Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

May be responsible for operating facility metal detectors (requires full operator training).

May perform duties in compliance with the Company’s HACCP Plan (requires HACCP training provided by the facility’s HACCP Coordinator).

Qualifications:

Previous experience in machinery, industrial maintenance, or related fields.

Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as part of daily responsibilities.

One or more of the following is required:

Veteran status, or

Minimum of 45 college credits, or

Vocational training with certificate of completion, or

Completion of the AIB correspondence course, or

Two (2) or more years of industrial maintenance repair and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Production Maintenance Technician Requirements:

Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift as scheduled.

Must comply with CDC food handling standards and all applicable government and customer requirements.

Must meet FDA public safety guidelines for employment in a food production environment.

Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and signage, and to properly use required safety equipment (e.g., respirators) when necessary.

Ability to research, interpret, implement, and monitor company policies and operational procedures.

Must complete and maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.

Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions, ranging from below freezing to over 120 ree;F.
