JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Performs business and system analysis and system design to create detailed programming specifications or to resolve issues in an Agile environment
• Understands tools and databases used by PGIM Real Estate to perform detailed analysis and to ensure business designs not only meet business requirements but fit within PGIM Real Estate and Prudential technology standards
• Helps identify and implement new uses of information technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objective
• Develops project plans and timelines and actively works with all involved parties to maintain project schedules
• Partners closely with and provides key support to the Product Owner
• Works closely with engineering and product teams during the development lifecycle to collaborate on business requirements and answering questions
• Access and analyze data in SQL
• Backlog Refinement Sprint Execution
• Support Product Owner to author user stories and create user stories that meet Definition of Ready and provide detailed functional requirements
• Support design reviews refinement and estimation meetings needed to meet Definition of Ready
• Perform business and system analysis and utilize designs to create detailed specifications or to resolve issues in an Agile environment
• Support Product Owner to maintain a welldefined and healthy backlog ensuring it aligns with sprint goals and roadmap
• Participate in design reviews refinement and estimation meetings to ensure stories meet definition of Ready
• Collaboration with the team on an ongoing basis during sprints to answer questions and provide clarity
• Works with the Quality Assurance team during testing to answer questions and make the test process as efficient as possible
• Act as the voice of the customer ensuring that user needs are understood and reflected in the product backlog
• Protect the project and sprints against scope creep
Agile Ways of Working
• Well versed in ScrumAgile practices for software delivery
• Participate in required scrum ceremonies eg sprint planning daily standup retro
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvements and work with Product Owner to implement applicable process improvements
Delivery and Communication
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to enable proactive business decisions
• Providing updates on status timelines and problems reviewing final outcomes with the client and obtaining their sign off that work is in accordance with client requirements
• Negotiations skills tradeoff analysis psychology etc Selling the business on iterative development and minimum viable product concepts not giving into requests for goldplating or overengineering
