Starting with the role:

We are seeking a Head of Security Operations, being responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets by ensuring continuous visibility and rapid response to cyber threats

Location: Kato Kifisia

During your day you will:

Oversee continuous monitoring, timely detection, and effective response to cybersecurity threats and incidents

Maintain the availability and effectiveness of security infrastructure and tools, including SIEM, EDR, and firewalls

Lead the organization’s response to security incidents, ensuring timely containment, thorough investigation, and effective recovery

Integrate threat intelligence into operations to proactively identify and mitigate risks

Optimize processes, tools, and team capabilities to enhance detection and response maturity

What you need to stand out:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related discipline

Master’s degree in information security or related discipline

Minimum 7 years previous experience in hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, threat detection and SOC management

Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, defining operational KPIs, and leading high-pressure incident response efforts

Experience in leading and coordinating responses to major security incidents, including post-incident analysis and executive reporting

Knowledge of information security standards and best practices

Strong expertise in SIEM solutions

Certifications and training in specific defense solutions

Certified in CISSP, GSOM, GSOC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA
