Olive Recruiting is searching for a Lift Planner for our client in Manassas, VA. This role is responsible for developing and coordinating lift plans to support crane and rigging operations. Responsibilities encompass translating project and sales requirements into safe, accurate, and efficient lift plans within company systems, serving as a bridge between sales, dispatch, and field operations.

Location: Manassas, VA

Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire with client

Schedule: Primarily in-office, standard business hours (occasional flexibility based on project needs)

Compensation: Competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities:

Develop lift plans using internal management software (NextGen) based on project details provided by sales staff.

Coordinate with sales teams and customers to clarify requirements, site conditions, and technical details.

Produce clear, accurate lift plans that can be accessed by crane operators and dispatch through the company system.

Collaborate with dispatch to ensure plans align with scheduling and resource availability.

Serve as a technical problem solver, leveraging both crane knowledge and computer/drafting skills.

Maintain project documentation and ensure plans meet internal and customer safety/quality standards.

Support continuous improvement of lift planning processes, tools, and templates. Qualifications:

Prior experience in crane operations, rigging, or dispatch strongly preferred.

Proficiency with computers and drafting/technical drawing software; ability to learn and adapt to company systems quickly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable troubleshooting and researching solutions independently.

Excellent communication skills to liaise between sales, customers, and dispatch teams.

Associate degree in drafting, construction technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
