Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab in Hudson, FL is seeking a full time Occpational Therapist!

Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab is a premier skilled nursing facility located in Hudson, FL, proudly serving our community with exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services. Our in-house therapy team is dedicated to providing patient-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation department. If you're passionate about improving quality of life and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

Deliver occupational therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in a subacute rehab setting

Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function and independence

Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care

Educate residents and family members on adaptive techniques and equipment

Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Florida

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Previous experience in a skilled nursing or subacute rehab setting preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Passion for patient-centered care and rehabilitation
