About This Opportunity
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work directly with adults with developmental disabilities in our residential program, helping them build independence and achieve their personal goals. Based at our Libertyville campus, you'll enjoy a supportive team environment while making a real difference in participants' daily lives. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends, to support work-life balance.
What you'll accomplish:
Support participants in developing daily living skills that increase their independence and confidence
Build meaningful relationships while helping adults access community resources and achieve personal milestones
Implement personalized service plans that directly improve quality of life for participants
Create safe, welcoming home environments where participants thrive and grow
What you bring to this role:
You bring compassion and patience along with a genuine interest in supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Your ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively will help you connect with participants, families, and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license from Indiana, Illinois, or Wisconsin
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication systems

Compensation
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour
