Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.

The shift is a night shift spanning 12 hours.

The nurse will be expected to work 36 hours per week.

Weekend schedules will consist of every other weekend.

As needed, the nurse may float to similar units within the facility.

Common diagnoses include pneumonia and sepsis.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:6.

Charting will be done using an electronic health record system.

Scrub color is navy blue.

Special procedures include breathing treatments, chest tube setup and care, CPAP/BiPap, and trach care.

Floating support to other areas may be required, based on skillset.
