Job Description

The Senior People Operations Generalist (Spanish/English) serves as a key HR partner supporting multiple sites in the region, focusing on employee relations, coaching, and engagement. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner to take the next step in their career, providing hands-on leadership support while maintaining a strong presence at the Johnstown location. The position blends strategy and day-to-day execution—ideal for someone adaptable, approachable, and confident working with employees at every level, from frontline team members to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for the Johnstown site, supporting leadership and employees across multiple facilities

• Provide coaching, guidance, and conflict resolution to promote a positive and productive work environment

• Lead employee relations initiatives, open enrollment, and site-level engagement activities

• Collaborate with leadership on performance management, training, and employee development initiatives

• Maintain HR systems and ensure compliance with employment laws, FMLA, and company policies

• Partner with regional People Operations leaders on continuous improvement and special projects

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience (Generalist or HRBP level)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR compliance

• Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to varied personalities and environments

• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred or willingness to obtain

• Confident communicator who can build rapport across all levels of the organization—not a “yes person,” but a trusted, solution-oriented partner

The Base Salary Range: $78,000–$97,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, qualifications, location and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
