About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 181-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage with day shifts from 7am-7pm and overnight call from 5pm-7am. Experience in the OR with vein harvesting is required, and candidates must be skilled in endoscopic vein harvesting using the Terumo system. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiology cases
Perform endoscopic vein harvesting using the Terumo system
Participate in 3–5 patient encounters per shift
Collaborate with the advanced practice provider team for flexible scheduling
Deliver patient care in the operating room, including vein harvesting procedures
Additional Information
Must have a current Alabama license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
OR experience with vein harvesting required
