Intervention Specialist, Up to $52/hr

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Contract Duration: Remainder of 25-'26 School Year

Compensation: Up To $52/Hour Based on Experience

Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Typically, candidates should hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, special education, or related fields.

Certifications Requirements: Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification or equivalent, with current licenses as required.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience working as an intervention specialist, preferably in a school setting, with skills in inclusive education and student intervention strategies.

Other Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, background check clearance, and commitment to student success. Flexibility to support multiple campuses and adapt to various classroom settings.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inclusive educational support and intervention for students in K-8, including those with special needs.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver targeted instructional strategies.

Monitor student progress and adapt interventions to meet evolving needs.

Assist in resource room and inclusion settings to promote student success.
