Summary:
The Retail Sales Performance Manager is a senior-level strategic support role focused on enhancing branch performance through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. This individual partners closely with executive and regional leadership to assess performance, analyze data, and develop actionable strategies that improve sales, operational efficiency, leadership effectiveness, and team behaviors across the branch network.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Branch Retail Director, Execution Director, and Retail Regional Managers to evaluate branch performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of programs, plans, and behaviors, translating insights into strategic recommendations.
Develop and present performance strategies that drive improvements in sales, operations, leadership behaviors, and team collaboration.
Drive metrics and targets related to:
Productivity
New relationship acquisition
Revenue growth
Leadership behaviors and teamwork
Partnership effectiveness
Manage the incentive budget for branch spend, ensuring alignment with performance goals and financial targets.
Support performance management initiatives including goal setting, incentive design, and recognition programs.
Serve as a subject matter expert on key projects, providing data-backed guidance to optimize branch performance.
Coordinate with the reporting team to identify data gaps and opportunities for enhanced insights.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
8 years of experience in banking, with a strong understanding of retail banking operations and leadership dynamics.
Experience with SAS, SQL, and Tableau development.
Expertise with performance management frameworks and incentive design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and large teams.
Proven ability to build partnerships and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
