Summary
The Land Transportation Analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting transportation data to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role involves building dashboards, reports, and automated tools to monitor performance, optimize resources, and ensure data integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in transportation logistics, and proficiency in business intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract and consolidate data from systems such as TMW, Exactus, and Lawson to create data cubes and perform analysis.
Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to present weekly operational results for logistics, trucking, and brokerage services.
Build queries to trace cargo routes from origin to destination and analyze profitability.
Create automated tools and scripts to support cost-saving initiatives and reduce manual processes.
Maintain data integrity through audit reports and resolve discrepancies caused by system or human errors.
Link TMW orders with invoicing systems to ensure accurate billing and timely charge transfers.
Provide data-driven insights to management for decision-making and resource optimization.
Assist auditors with specialized scripts and data requests.
Monitor equipment permissions and compliance to avoid regulatory fines.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within transportation operations.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in transportation industry data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL.
Experience with TMW and other transportation management systems.
Skilled in BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Other Desirable Qualifications
Programming skills for automation and data processing.
Financial analysis background.
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and resource utilization.
Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance requirements
