Description:

Job Req Number: 102426

Time Type: Full Time

Would you like to influence a strategically important area for DSV, playing a pivotal role in driving compliance excellence across the Enterprise Verticals globally across our regions?

Work both strategically and hands-on as you lead a highly collaborative team and guide as well as support on country and branch-level compliance to implement and continuously improve vertical frameworks.

“Our Vertical Compliance Operational team is newly established, created to support our 6 strategic verticals. You’ll be joining at an exciting time—before everything is fully established—giving you the opportunity to help shape how we work and move forward,” says Danielle Holmes, Director, Group Vertical Compliance

Welcome to our global team

In our department, Vertical Compliance, you will manage our global Vertical Compliance Operational team. We are 5 colleagues based in Singapore, Panama, Dubai and the Netherlands, and together we are responsible for training and aligning our colleagues in different countries on our compliance framework. Even though we all work remotely, we stay collaborative and supportive of each other, which is reflected in our employee survey where we score high on teamwork.

“So far, the only vertical we’ve worked on is healthcare, which has gone really well. So now, we’re taking the success of that vertical to the remaining 5 and making this way of working the standard across all verticals,” explains Danielle.

Ensure an effective Vertical Quality Management System (QMS)

In this role, you will ensure that requirements for the Vertical QMS are effective, practical, supporting the business, aligning with cross-functional processes, and securing compliance with internal requirements.

Moreover, you will ensure that operational feedback from regional and local operations is effectively captured and communicated to the Vertical QMS subject matter experts to support continuous improvement and ensure the framework remains practical and business aligned.

Specifically, you will:

Lead and actively contribute to your team (e.g. in daily compliance activities, key audits, or improvement initiatives), ensuring priorities, performance, collaboration and alignment

Design and deliver tailored training programs to meet country/branch-specific needs, implementation and promote awareness and ownership of Vertical QMS requirements

Conduct and oversee regional audit programs to ensure consistent quality and methodology, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement

Provide regular updates to Danielle on KPI’s, data-driven insights, trends and best practice

Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure compliance supports business objectives

Ensure regional compliance activities align with the vertical QMSs, Core QMS, and global standards

Solid compliance and audit experience – and the ability to lead a remote team

With your cultural awareness and experience working in diverse, international environments, you are able to lead a remote team across countries and time-zones. And you can do so balancing management responsibilities with hands-on operational tasks. Also, you are a good change manager who can motivate colleagues and stakeholders and are confident in moving ideas and initiatives forward.

Finally, we imagine that you:

Have proven experience in compliance, quality management, or regulatory affairs, understanding supply chain compliance and logistics regulations

Have demonstrated experience in training, auditing, and cross-functional collaboration and hold a Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, etc.)

Have experience with Vertical specific requirements (e.g., GDP, GMP, AS9100, TAPA, TISAX, etc.)

Are proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) for compliance reporting

Hold cross-sector experience or the ability to adapt compliance frameworks across multiple industries
