Logistics Co-ordinator

We’re looking for a dynamic, team player to join our client’s supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and build a successful future with this national client.

Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

Take ownership of all freight and logistics operations.

Work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams

Work closely with suppliers and third-party service providers

All freight & logistics invoice reconciliation & processing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on the database and ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date

All contract management of freight & logistics

Develop good relationships suppliers and third-party service providers

Monitor freight & logistics market trends

Build relationships with procurement and warehouse teams

Improve processes to optimise costs and improve service levels

Experience:

Previous experience working with freight forwarding companies

Formal qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience

Proficient using MS Excel at an intermediate level

Computer experience with experience using MS Word, Outlook

Previous experience in invoice reconciliation

Strong organisational and problem–solving skills

Good negotiation & relationship building skills

Proven ability to work at a high standard in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills
