Marketing Coordinator - Commercial Construction

With a couple of years' experience, we look for this talented professional to join our marketing team to assist in the coordination and creation of internal/external communications, proposals, promotional materials, and market positioning content.

The Marketing Coordinator is a key creative support person in the creation of internal/external communications, proposals, promotional materials, content and other brand awareness pieces. In this role you are tasked with lending a creative eye to showcase the Pepper brand for both print and digital. You will be working within a dynamic Marketing and Business Development team in support of the Ohio operations. With a respect for a deadline-driven environment, you will be given latitude to offer suggestions, ideas and thoughts that inspire what is created and shared.

Based in the Columbus (Dublin) office, this role supports Pepper's Ohio offices in both Cincinnati and Columbus. While the primary responsibilities of the position serve Pepper's Ohio offices, the role will work closely with and be supported by marketing team members across all Pepper regional offices. This position offers opportunity for growth and advancement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as a source for content creation with the team

Assist with advertising and events as needed, including coordination of collateral and promotional items.

Assist with coordination of project photography

Assist with custom project signage requests

Assist with other PR and communication efforts

Play a role in determining the strategic theme for proposal responses and interview presentations.

Coordinate the response process for formal RFQs and RFPs. Develop materials with the assistance of other marketing team members, including visual components and custom web pages

Develop presentation strategy and materials (PowerPoint, brochure, etc.).

Routinely interact and partner with operations leaders and project management staff to respond to strategic requirements of the proposal/interview

Research and gather information on clients, organizations, markets, etc. to assist in proposal prep, client meetings or other opportunities as required.

Coordinate visual marketing strategies in compliance with Pepper brand guidelines.

Support business development staff and sales efforts.

In partnership with the marketing team, offer employees responses to marketing questions

Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge base and build networks

Position Qualifications:

3-5 years of marketing, graphics, or technical writing experience

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a degree with demonstrated equivalent experience

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office

AEC Marketing Experience required

Graphic design/layout experience preferred. Experience with infographic design a plus

Advanced organizational and prioritization skills

Excellent team player with a positive attitude

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team-oriented atmosphere

Understanding of the construction industry is a plus
