Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab experience and a current state license for a Level IV acute care hospital position.
Responsibilities
This position is based in an inpatient rehab unit within an acute care hospital with a 71-bed skilled extended care facility
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient ratio is 1:6
No weekends or on-call requirements
Clinician may be required to float within their scope as needed
Cerner is used for charting in the hospital, and Point Click Care (PCC) is used in long-term care
Free hospital housing is available
No radius rule for local candidates
Main duties involve providing physical therapy to inpatients with a caseload of up to 6 patients per shift
RTO cannot be taken within the first two weeks due to orientation and is limited to one week
Scrub color is flexible per dress code policy
Level IV trauma environment with 25 staffed beds and comprehensive medical and surgical services
Free parking is available on site
Travelers may be paired if requested
Hospital-provided orientation will be required before starting
Requirements
Valid Physical Therapist state license required; compact license accepted if applicable
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient rehabilitation PT experience required
Current BLS certification required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
No pending state license accepted; Montana state license takes up to 8 weeks to obtain
References from two professional supervisors within the past 2 years are required
