Accounting and Administrative Intern - Summer 2026

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Business & Accounting Intern to join our team this summer and gain hands-on experience in the business side of the construction industry.
Position Overview:
As a GSE Business & Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance, accounting, and administrative teams to support daily business operations. This internship offers valuable exposure to job costing, material tickets, project invoicing, payroll, and office administration-all critical components of running a successful construction company.
Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly financial closings and account reconciliations
Accurately enters payroll for submission
Help review invoices, purchase orders, and job cost allocations
Participate in data entry and maintenance of financial records
Provide support for audits, reports, and other finance-related projects
Participate in and aligns with the Safety Program
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Wage and Benefits:
The pay rate for this position is $22.00 hour to $26.00 hour depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
Lakeside Industries, Inc. seasonal employees participate in state run paid sick, medical and family leave programs, and have access to our company sponsored employee assistance program. Interns working beyond 90 days, may have the option to participate in our 401(k)-retirement plan.
