Unit: Adult Medical-Surgical

Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/30/2025 - End: 1/29/2026)

Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required

Floating: May float to other hospital units Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license

Current CPR/BLS certification

Flu vaccination required

At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience

Strong clinical skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care to adult Med/Surg patients in a hospital setting

Administer medications and treatments following nursing protocols and healthcare policies

Accurately document patient care and progress in electronic medical records

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Participate in unit-based performance improvement and shared governance initiatives

Support other hospital units as needed to ensure seamless clinical support

Escalate patient safety concerns according to hospital procedures
