Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry for a 13-week contract in Madison, Wisconsin — earn up to ($2242 - $2360 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.

Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to enhance skills.

Stay updated on best practices and advancements in nursing care.

Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license in Wisconsin with medical-surgical and telemetry experience.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Proven ability to monitor and assess vital signs accurately.

Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans.

Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols.

Strong knowledge of medication administration and treatment protocols.

Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

Excellent documentation skills for patient care activities.

Strong team player with a focus on achieving team goals.

Ability to utilize data for evaluating patient outcomes.
